Lake Silvaplana has been a kitesurfing spot since the very beginning of the sport. Surrounded by mountains with breathtaking views at 1800 m altitude. Wind typically picks up late morning or early afternoon. The grassy beach is easy to access but can get crowded on weekends.
Bring a full wetsuit — the water is cold all year. Use larger kites due to altitude reducing kite performance.Campsite at the spot. Wild camping not tolerated in the region.
